EasyEquities wins 2026 Daily Investor Award for Best Online Share Trading Platform

EasyEquities has won the 2026 Daily Investor Award for Best Online Share Trading Platform.

This was based on the Daily Investor 2026 Investor and Banking Survey, which was conducted in January 2026.

2,480 South African investors responded to the survey, a large majority of whom were high-income earners and high-net-worth individuals.

When asked which online trading platform they prefer, 39% of survey respondents chose EasyEquities.

Only 15% chose the nearest competitor, firmly placing EasyEquities as the favourite among South Africans.

EasyEquities’ promotion of low fees and fractional share ownership are driving factors in its popularity, along with its partnerships with many large institutions.

Trophy handover

To celebrate this achievement, the Daily Investor team visited EasyEquities’ offices in Johannesburg to hand over the trophy and congratulate the team behind the platform’s success.

We met with EasyEquities’ Vice President of Partnerships, Bradley Leather, and Vice President of Trading, Nilan Morar, who received the award on behalf of the broader EasyEquities team.

Receiving the 2026 Daily Investor Award is more than just recognition – it reflects EasyEquities’ vital role in shaping financial independence in South Africa.

It is also not the first time that EasyEquities has won the award.

EasyEquities took home the Daily Investor Award for Best Online Share Trading Platform in 2025, too, highlighting its ongoing success.
