2026 MyBroadband Awards – How Afrihost won ISP and Hosting Provider of the Year

Afrihost is a double winner at the 2026 MyBroadband Awards – winning ISP of the Year and Hosting Provider of the Year.

This is notable because these awards are each based on strict criteria, so for a single company to win two at once is an impressive achievement.

Additionally, this is the fourth consecutive year that Afrihost has won the ISP of the Year award, and the second year in a row it has won the Hosting Provider of the Year award.

This streak of victories highlights the consistent high quality of its services, its focus on customer satisfaction, and its dedication to continually developing new and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

Affordable quality

Afrihost prides itself on ensuring all products and services are affordably priced while not compromising on its famous, world-class quality.

This applies to both its ISP and Hosting Provider clients, who always get more value than they expected.

The strategy of providing premier quality at affordable prices is a strategy that started back when the company was founded in 1999.

Originally a hosting business, Afrihost quickly set itself apart from established providers.

At the time, the general hosting price was roughly R550 per month; however, Afrihost offered its hosting services for only R150.

This had a transformative impact on the hosting industry, reducing prices nationwide while establishing Afrihost as an industry leader.

To this day, Afrihost innovates with both its offerings and their pricing to maximise customer value.

Innovation and expansion

Afrihost also understands that its customers’ needs are constantly evolving, and it must keep pace with these new requirements to remain competitive.

An excellent example of this is when, many years ago, it expanded beyond the hosting industry, becoming an ISP as well.

Its ISP services have always embraced innovation and the latest advancements, while keeping connectivity affordable for all South Africans.

Its diverse range of connectivity offerings now include Fixed LTE, Fixed 5G, fibre, and ADSL.
