Msibi’s financial career began in 2006 when he became the Head of General Ledger Controls for Barclays in Africa and the Middle East.
He then joined Absa’s Business Banking division as the Head of Business Assurance before moving to the position of National Sales Manager for the bank’s insurance division.
Msibi also served as the General Manager for Dealer and Field Sales at Hollard Insurance and held several director positions at multiple motoring companies.
He then joined WesBank in 2015 and has risen through the ranks – taking on several executive positions, including Executive Head of Sales and Marketing.
His experience across the finance, insurance, governance, risk, and compliance industries has made a huge impact at WesBank.
After becoming the CEO of WesBank’s Motor Division in 2019, he was appointed to his current role as WesBank CEO in 2022.
