Smart Money – Mesh MD Connie Bloem explains how her team is disrupting capital markets
In this Daily Investor Smart Money episode, Alishia Seckam meets with Connie Bloem – the co-founder and Managing Director of Mesh – to discuss capital markets and the Mesh platform.
Bloem has extensive experience implementing world-leading Treasury and Trade systems at Tier 1 banks, with a specific focus on the development of digital banking and foreign exchange trading applications.
She previously worked as a Digital Business Integration Analyst at Accenture before joining Andile Solutions, part of the 42Markets Group.
She joined as a Business Analyst in 2016 before moving to the role of Product Owner in 2019.
In 2020, Bloem co-founded a Web 3.0 platform business under the 42Markets Group called Mesh, which aims to make financial and capital markets more accessible.
It does this by bridging the gap between Traditional Finance (TradFi) and Decentralised Finance (DeFi).
Bloem is using her experience to spearhead Mesh and disrupt how financial and capital markets operate.
