Important South African courier company denies financial problems

RTT, one of South Africa’s largest and most important logistic companies, denied it is facing financial challenges.

RTT is a leading multi-channel distribution logistic partner that offers numerous services to South African retailers.

It is a specialist logistics and supply chain leader, offering services to local companies beyond traditional logistics.

“We remain at the forefront of business innovation and specialist solutions that integrate into our clients’ end-to-end supply chain,” it said.

RTT said the size of its networks, infrastructure, and innovative technological solutions allows it to deliver freight on time and in full.

The company’s divisions include RTT Distribution, RTT Style, CourierIT, and Warehousing and On Demand.

Daily Investor received information from three independent sources that RTT is facing financial challenges.

One of these sources told Daily Investor that RTT’s financial problems had reached the point where it had stopped paying staff provident funds.

However, RTT denied that the company has any problems, adding that it has not stopped paying any funds.

Nathaniel Ballakistein, RTT Group Sales and Marketing executive, highlighted that RTT is a private company.

“RTT is a private company and does not comment or disclose any financial matters or information,” he said.

However, he added that, “The RTT Group is up to date with all salary, wage, and fund contributions.”
